So far I have managed to lose 25 pounds and one dress size in 4 weeks. I'm very excited as this is the first diet I've ever had success with. I'll post some pics of how I look now very soon, and will post one at the end of each month of my progress.
Here are my entries to the guild tabard contest being held at: Sisters of Mercy
Entry 1, the original tabard:
Ok, I know, it's not more pictures of my now lived in house, but it is really hard to get good pictures of animals that love to move around. It's like they know when you have a camera, and they must not stay in the position they were in.
This is Dru, enjoying our screened in porch. They are indoor kitties only, so this is their personal outdoor space.
Hello, this is my house. Well, my house about a month before we moved in. Later I'll post some pictures on the rooms that we have fully inhabited. It is a large house for two people who don't have much in furniture.
The front yard. I had to take it in three pictures so I could do it without the car in the picture.
Okay, the pictures do not do the paint color on the walls justice. It is actually a very beautiful mocha color. Imagine a rich coffee with a tiny bit of cream and that's my living room walls. The trim is white, and the carpet is this luxurious soft cream color.
Now to the garage! I would normally never post pictures of the interior of a garage, but this one has some nifty things in it.
They painted the cabinets and added wainscoting! How awesome is that! The attic stairs are a little scary and will be replaced. The cabinets are in wonderful shape, and have left over paint from all the different rooms, so I can do touch ups or order more if needed. The walls aren't white, they are a pale gray, which is nice and doesn't show dirt as easily
Built in work bench with shelves, drawers, peg board and nice florescent lights. The windows look over the back yard. They open outward at a tilt so i can have them open even when raining! the screens are on the inside, so less worry about them breaking. And there are blinds just in case the sun is too much. It is facing west.
That's it for the photo tour. Later I will post pictures of the house with our stuff in it! Yay! Then I will show our offices, bedroom and the bathrooms.
His name is Corgi. He was a year old when I adopted him as a Christmas present for my husband last year. He has been a wonderful playmate for my beagle, who is almost 9 years old and needed a younger friend. He's very energetic, eager to please, and loving. He got stuck with the name Corgi because it is all he would answer to.
I really don't know what else to call it. It's made from Red Heart Yarn, the neutral no dye lot color. I don't know if I'll use Red Heart again except for experimenting. It's a bit rough on the hands. I'm going to send this through the wash a few times to see if it gets any softer.
And here is it displayed on my black office chair.
